Emmanuelle Khanh

Pionner of a fashion movement of the early 60's, the Yéyé, inspired from the famous song by the Beatles "Yeah, Yeah, Yeah", Emmanuelle Khanh worked for several years as fashion director for Cacharel and Missoni.

In 1969, she decided to be on her own and launched her own read-to-wer brand. The collection aimed to be different from Haute Couture and were directed to both active and modern women.

After several seasons, she decided to combine her crazy spirit to the expertise and know-how of the Guillet company to create, in 1972, a new line of products and launched a collection of bold and colorful glasses. Emmanuelle Khanh was a pionner in the use and work of revolutionary materials then unused in the world of fashion and glasses.

From this stemed a series of iconic models, including the famous 8080 frame, worn by Emmanuelle Khanh herself. Sunglasses became then a fashion accessory, to wear and combine according to your silhouette and outfits.

Attached to this unique know-how, the brand handmanufactures all its products in France in workshops in the mountains of Jura. At least 150 hours are needed to produce and finish each pair.
