Why we love it ?
Pionner of a fashion movement of the early 60's, the Yéyé, inspired by the famous song by the Beatles "Yeah, Yeah, Yeah", Emmanuelle Khanh worked for several years as a fashion director for Cacharel and Missoni.
In 1969, she decided to launch her own eponymous ready-to-wear brand, Emmanuelle Khanh. She wanted her fashion items to be different from the offer of Haute Couture houses and aimed her offer at both active and modern women.
L'Exception likes Emmanuelle Khanh for its oversize frames with sharp lines, rich materials and its renowned french manufacturing. Emmanuelle Khanh's collections offer women fashion items that preach an absolute freedom of movement, an activist and audacious state of mind and the will to conciliate women's poise with their strength.
