About our Designers
Pionner of a fashion movement of the early 60's, the Yéyé, Emmanuelle Khanh worked for several years as fashion director for Cacharel and Missoni. In 1969, she decided to be on her own and launched her own read-to-wer brand. The collection aimed to be different from Haute Couture and were directed to both active and modern women. After several seasons, she decided to combine her crazy spirit to the expertise and know-how of the Guillet company to create, in 1972, a collection of bold and colorful glasses.
From this will result a series of iconic models, including the famous 8080 frame, worn by Emmanuelle Khanh herself. Attached to this unique know-how, the brand still manufactures all its products in workshops in France.
